Emiko Agatsuma

An award-winning professional Butoh dancer based in Japan and has performed internationally. 
In 2020, she was selected as a residency artist for the Taipei International Arts Village and presented her solo work "Future Temple". Furthermore, she was invited to represent Japan at the 39th Battery Dance Festival in New York.  She has been invited by Shinehouse Theatre (Taipei, Taiwan) to teach Butoh dance since 2018 and choreographed "The whisper of the wave".  Representative of
AGAXART, a production team. Her mission is to boost people's creativity.

塩谷 智司

He joined "Dairakudakan", Butoh company in 2001.

Since then, he has been performing in every productions directed by Akaji Maro.

As a choreographer, he got an award from Japan Critics Association as the Best Young Artist.

​He is also an actor on TV and movie.

松村 宗亮

​Souryou Matsumura

While a college student abroad, Souryou Matsumura came to the realization that despite being Japanese, he did not know enough about the very culture he came from. Upon his return to Japan, Matsumura delved into the study and practice of Chanoyu (The Way of Tea) with the Urasenke school, where he is now an Associate Professor.
Matsumura’s Chanoyu activities have become the focus of attention in Japan and internationally due to his collaborations with many contemporary performers and artists. Matsumura has appeared on numerous radio and TV shows promoting the way of tea for a new generation, most notable was his TED x Tokyo

友光 雅臣

Masaomi Tomomitsu

Organizer of the temple festival "Kou-gen"

Monk of  Tendai sect

Born in Tokyo in 1983 and raised in Tokyo
Priest of the Tendai sect for 11 years
After training at Hieizan Enryakuji Temple, he became a monk of the Tendai sect. He is the deputy chief priest at Jogyouji Temple in Shinagawa.

 Techno DJ for 18 years

Started DJing when he entered university and has been active mainly in the Shibuya Roppongi area. Has played at Burning Man in the U.S. and festivals in Guatemala.

 Festival organizer 9 years

Since 2011, he has been organizing Kou-gen, a festival held at temples and shrines, with the theme of "facing the source of oneself" by mixing all kinds of experiences such as Buddhism, Shintoism, Japanese culture, Christianity, modern art, and dialogue with scientists. The festival has been held not only in Tokyo but also in Kyoto, and has been exhibited at the Nico Nico Cho-Kaigi and the American Bernigman.

吉田 龍雄

Monk of  Jodo sect, Banryuji

​ Born in 1974 in Meguro, Tokyo. After graduating from the Department of Jo-do Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Taisho University, he served at Zojoji Temple for 16 years.
Under the theme of "Crossing borders and Translation," he has sown the seeds of the Buddha's teachings to people living in the present day, both inside and outside the temple, through events focusing on art, design, and crafts.
He is currently working at his own temple, practicing the role that temples have played since ancient times in a modern way through various styles of events, with the aim of deepening the relationship between people and Buddhism.

Born in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture in 1963. Manga editor.
Worked in the editorial department of Kodansha "Morning", where he was in charge of artists such as Yoshihiro Yamada, Kaoru Kare-sawa, and Nakibokuro.
He was one of the organizing committee members of "Ten-sai 108", a manufacturing festival in which "Hyouge-mono" supported.

Through his relationship with the members of Dairakudakan, he cooperated in the performance of "Dancing Maharajah Tea Party" at the "Ten-sai 108", furthermore he has worked as an advisor in "Otera-Odori-Ocha"

In June 2021, he moved to another department. He continues to support this project as an individual.
